I have always had a passion for animals since I was a little girl but my dream came true when I set up Maddie's Companion Care in April 2018. My real love for dogs started when I was lucky enough to find my amazing Working Cocker Spaniel, Oscar. He is my partner in crime and has taught me so much about dogs as well as myself. He was my inspiration to complete many courses to better understand him as well as other dogs I look after which allows me to be 'more than just a dog walker'.

In 2020 I qualified with a merit as a professional Canine Behaviourist, thus allowing me to use BCCSDip.AdvCanBhv after my name (which stands for British College of Canine Studies, Diploma in Advanced Canine Behaviour).

 

In 2021 I gained a distinction in Level 3 Qualification in Canine Nutrition. This allows me to use the initials BCCS.Dip.HthNut after my name. (British College of Canine Studies, Diploma in Canine Nutrition) I am a great believer that nutrition and behaviour are linked. A good diet not only allows our dogs to be healthier and live longer, but it reduces the likelihood of negative or unwanted behaviour. By completing this course I am able to help offer owners advice on ways they can help behaviour from all aspects.
